• Friday’s 90-minute free practice session was topped by Nakajima Racing’s Ren Sato with a best lap of 1’22.769. Ayumu Iwasa (Mugen) was 0.033s behind in second, followed by July Fuji poleman Nirei Fukuzumi (KCMG), Tadasuke Makino (Dandelion) and championship leader Tomoki Nojiri (Mugen), with all the best times coming at the end on new tyres.
